Hi friends and famdamily ; ) This month has been So much fun.
WORK
Ive been really blessed with a constant flow of exciting jobs: interior decorating of a coffee shop, boardroom and a kids play room (all different clients) I LUV working! The people are fun I never get to sit still. Always moving, driving, shopping, planning etc.
STUDIES
I've started a Photography Short Course at the Academy where Im going to finish my degree. I must admit I felt a little bit uneasy after all my fellow classmates came back and started at Uni again after winter break and I m was NOT. However once I got summoned to do the course I knew I made the right descision. The course is extreamly well planed, insightful and of a very high standard. So ja Im back to taking notes, filing projects and recieving marks. This is only on Fridays though.
ART
I have two artworks on exhibition in stellenbosch at the moment. Its in Dorp str at the US Art Gallery. Further I running a small exhibition in a restaurant foyer in the west coast.
TRAVEL
I going to Dubai in Dec! So rad, my mother is doing house swapping with a couple. Yes like in the movie The Holiday with Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Jude Law and Jack Black. Gonna b SO COOL!

What is Line' doing?
My DTS friends where delighted to find me on facebook, since I haven't been very active in the cyber world these last two years. Sorry, internet was rationed at University. (Naturally I used it for research.)
SHOCKING NEWS
- I've left my university. Jip, SO not me hey? However I did not abandon my course. I m just joining another academy to study the same degree, but with a more practical approach.
- IM 21! So cool, had the nicest 21st
- Im back at Media Village. Can you believe it? Really missing my DTS ans SVp comrads
SO, WHAT AM I DOING NOW
Basically I work hard and play hard
Doing freelance graphics for various people, helping at Media Village with Editing and Scripts. Working for my Dad's development company, interior decorating (my sisters house looks great & a guest house coming up) Peole generally have the idea that Im bored after taking a break of my studies. I get asked aal kinds of favours cause I LUV being creative, so it does'nt always feel like Im working, however I have over done it (sice my creativity peaks at night). The day before I rocked up at MV, I cracked and cried of exhaustion - nothing sleep can't cure (I ned to say NO with a smile on my face to some favours : )
COOL STUFF THAT HAPPENED
- My Dad and I visited Isreal for June holiday 2006 - Best time EVA!
- I've been doing really well at university and made the Dean's list
- I went to visit Egypt with my Ancient Cultures class for research Dec 2006
- I have the coolset flatemate in the world - Heike a German girl, also a Graphic Designer
- I've been focussing on making my art more market friendly...and have sold a few stuff by now. Im so excited
- Ive made the coolset friends at Univ - like sisters and brothers.
TRAILS OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS
- my parent's divorse is still 'pending' or 'downloading'. Yes, this is the second year ince they decided to 'end' it. This prosess has been tedious, stressful and unessasary.
- My mother now lives alone in the family house, since everyone has moved out. I shipped out when Lelani came to stay in my room, my dad moved out, then Lelani moved to Pretoria (she got a better job offer than being my mom's PA) and now my bro Dewan has moved out also. I guess who had to be his partner in crime...?Me, I'm basically the moving buddy everyone phones when they need a hand. Eish!..(my poor back)
- The theory for my arthistory was very dark and desturbing. The course was truly a challenge for my heart. Needless to say "anxiety of the heart causes depression" -Prov something: something
I was really strugling with depression and family stuff wasn't quite helping.
- I've decided to leave my church. This was a big step in my faith and really just trusting God. (still a christain and loving God)
